NCHUA Virtual Core

Your communications core, deployed your way.

The same telephony and platform services that run on NCHUA CORE hardware — packaged as a virtual appliance you deploy in your own cloud account or private infrastructure.

What Virtual Core is

Virtual Core is the NCHUA communications core — telephony and platform services — running as a virtual-machine image instead of on dedicated NCHUA CORE hardware. It's the same software stack, deployable to your own AWS, Azure, or GCP account, or to private virtualization infrastructure.

How it fits together

NCHUA Softphone & IP Phones

Register as SIP extensions against your Virtual Core, the same way they would against NCHUA Cloud or a Physical Core appliance.

NCHUA Virtual Core

SIP registration, extensions, IVR menus, call queues, ring groups, business-hours routing, voicemail, and call routing.

Your infrastructure

Deployed as a virtual-machine image in your own cloud account or private virtualization environment — you control where it runs.

What runs on Virtual Core

SIP Registration & Extensions

Every teammate gets a SIP extension, whether they call from the NCHUA Softphone or a standard desk phone.

IVR Menus

Build call menus that route callers to the right person, team, or voicemail.

Call Queues & Ring Groups

Route incoming calls to a queue or a group of extensions instead of just one person.

Business Hours Routing

Route calls differently depending on the time of day or day of week.

Voicemail

Every extension can take a message when no one answers.

Conference Bridges

Host multi-party audio conferences on standard phone lines.

DID / Number Management

Bring your own numbers or provision new local and toll-free DIDs through your SIP trunk provider.

Admin Console

Manage extensions, routing rules, and call handling from a web-based admin console.

Virtual Core vs. Physical Core

Both run the exact same NCHUA communications core software. Choose Virtual Core to deploy it as a virtual machine in infrastructure you already manage; choose Physical Core when you want dedicated NCHUA hardware, pre-installed and pre-configured, in your own building.
